Responsibility for the contents of all discussions lies entirely with the authors of messages in these discussions; Talkitover only provides a free communication medium and has no responsibility or even knowledge of the contents of these pages. Talkitover employees do not examine or otherwise access the contents of any Talkitover groups, other than those in which they personally participate, except as may be required for system administration purposes.
Talkitover does not subscribe any person or organization to any Talkitover group and, acting only as mail forwarder, is not responsible for unintended mail from groups. All responsibility for subscriptions rests with individuals, through the Subscribe option of any group for which this option has not been disabled by the group creator.
When you subscribe an address, the subscription becomes effective only when you have received a confirmation message at that address and forwarded it to Talkitover.
To unsubscribe, it suffices to forward any of the group's messages to an address specified in the message. Each message includes the recipient's personal subscription code, so you can only unsubscribe an address if you have received mail from the group at that address.
